Congratulations, Graduates!
According to the feedback we’ve received, the recognition of graduates is a feature MennoExpressions readers look forward to each year. This year, we’re celebrating the graduation of two high school and three college students.
2025 High School Graduates
Georgia Lichti
I have some fond memories of Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, helping with and attending church babysitting nights, and doing JYF and MYF activities over the years.
I plan to go to Butler University next year to study vocal performance and want to pursue performing as a career. I would also like to add how thankful I am for people being able to support me by coming to my shows and for making this a welcoming space.
Carson Kauffman
I started attending First Mennonite Church when I was 5 years old. Reflecting back, I have many good memories from my past 13 years. My experiences during these years have helped shape me into who I am today. A few memories that stand out to me include Snow Camps, volunteering at Hungry Acres Farm in Illinois, helping with the Old Bethel Food Pantry, and sorting food at Gleaners.
After graduation, I plan to attend Goshen College, where I will study accounting. I appreciate the support of the congregation over the years and as I open a new chapter of my life.
